by Paul De Buck, MT and European certified Hand therapist

Peripheral compression neuropathies (PCN) are common but frequently missed in diagnostics or attributed to a local problem. As a manual therapist, we are in the ideal position to approach PCN from a broader perspective. During this lecture different PCN of the forearm will be forearm will be discussed with some specific provocation tests and guidelines for treatment.

After this presentation you will be able to make a better differentiation between a proximal, distal or multitissue PCN. In addition, you will have renewed knowledge for treatment on a structural and functional level. These insights are based on the most recent literature.

Learning goals:
Knowledge in diagnostic tests per nerve
Knowledge of a broader framework of thinking in peripheral compression neuropathy
Tools to treat in a more differentiated way
